Lorna Danatakiri

Lorna is the daughter of an businesswoman and her partner in both marriage and business, who happened to be an American expatriate. She was the result of a brief affair with a man who would later become MagnetMan, though this was kept a secret. She was teased as a child for her appearance, which was different from the other children, due to her mixed parentage.

But she grew up tough and self-assured, and was eager to go to school to become a police woman. Being a detective had always been a dream of hers, and she had the intelligence and drive to do it.

When she was in training, one of her fellow students accosted her, and tried to rape her. Lorna's powers manifested then, and she managed to keep herself safe, at the same time as she stopped the man without the use of extreme violence. Pleased with the result, she decided, after a week and some time spent freaking out, that she would attempt to join Cosmic X-Force Mobile Battle Group Total. They needed someone with her powers, not only to fight MagnetMan, but also the humanoid Sentries that hunted superhumans to bring to the government for experimentation.

She was eagerly accepted, and soon struck up a friendship with most of the members, and a flirtation with Havok.
